*About the Role*
The Business Development Executive (BDE) will serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients—identifying leads, presenting company services, qualifying opportunities, and converting leads into business. This position requires excellent communication, relationship-building, and strong persuasion skills. You will play a key role in helping startups navigate government funding and support programs.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Generate and qualify leads via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events.
* Present and sell company services: scheme consultation, application assistance, DPRs, pitch decks, recognition support, and more.
* Maintain and manage sales pipelines in CRM and meet monthly/quarterly targets.
* Coordinate with Partnerships & Policy Analysts for scheme eligibility and updates.
* Prepare proposals, quotations, and client onboarding documentation.
* Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams and follow up on post-sale activities.
* Collaborate with the marketing team for client insights and lead-generation activities.
*Required Skills & Attributes*
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Target-driven mindset with an organized and proactive approach.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
* Basic familiarity with startup/MSME funding schemes is an advantage.
* Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; CRM tools experience preferred.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
* 1–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles.
