Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Chennai- 1Job Summary:We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive- Real-time ContainerTracking to join our team focused on Real-time Container tracking, Gate automation solutions, Vehicletracking and Access control solutions.The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads, initiating contactwith key decision-makers, and nurturing relationships to drive sales opportunities. This role requiresexcellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry, andthe ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:1. Lead Generation: Utilize various channels such as online research, lead generation agencies, socialmedia, networking, and cold outreach to identify potential leads within the ports, logistics, transportationand supply chain industry.2. Qualification: Conduct thorough research to understand the needs, pain points, and buying behaviorof prospective customers. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our targetmarket.3. Outreach: Initiate contact with key decision-makers, including port managers, logistics managers,supply chain executives, and procurement professionals, through phone calls, emails, and LinkedInoutreach. Tailor messaging to resonate with each prospect's specific needs and challenges.4. Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with leads through regular follow-up, physicalmeeting and engagement. Provide relevant information, resources, and insights to educate prospectsabout the benefits of our real-time container tracking, vehicle tracking and access control solutions.5. Site Survey: Conduct on-site surveys and assessments at prospective customer locations to
vehicle tracking and access control solutions. Gather relevant data and insights to tailor proposals and
solutions accordingly.6. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation efforts withoverall business objectives. Provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness to optimizestrategies and drive continuous improvement.
7. Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions, status updates, and follow-up
activities. Keep track of leads through the sales pipeline and collaborate with sales lead to transitionqualified leads for further engagement.8. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emergingtechnologies related to container tracking, vehicle tracking and logistics management. Use insights toidentify new opportunities and refine targeting strategies.Qualifications:MBA- Marketing with good percentage marksExcellent communication skills of English and Tamil, both written and verbal, with the ability toarticulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.Demonstrated ability to conduct effective prospecting and lead generation activities, including coldcalling, email outreach, and social selling.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets andobjectives.Proficiency in MS-Office tools and other marketing productivity tools.Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based incentives
