Overview

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Associate to join our team. In this role, you will support the business development efforts of the company by identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and contributing to the expansion of our client base. As a Business Development Associate, you will work closely with senior team members to assist in the growth of the business and help achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Market Research:
  • Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities within targeted markets.
  • Assist in lead generation efforts through cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
  • Qualify leads and assess client needs to determine the best approach for engaging with prospects.
  • Sales Support & Outreach:
  • Support the sales team by preparing outreach materials, proposals, and presentations.
  • Reach out to new prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce the company’s services/products.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, follow-up calls, and managing initial sales interactions.
  • Client Relationship Building:
  • Assist in maintaining and building relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, following up on leads, and supporting ongoing client communication.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for new client acquisition.
  • Provide feedback from prospects and clients to improve service offerings, sales strategies, and marketing materials.
  • Data Entry & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and customer interactions in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, sales performance, and pipeline updates to management.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Assist with organizing client meetings, events, and trade shows.
  • Support the creation of sales presentations, case studies, and marketing collateral.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a client-facing role or sales support is a plus but not required.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients.
  • Proficient in email communication, phone calls, and presentations.
  • Organization & Time Management:
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with lead generation tactics, such as email marketing or social media outreach.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions relevant to the business.
  • Experience with digital tools for customer engagement or project management.
