Senior Executive - Business Development (Exports)

Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development Planning & Execution

  • Develop a robust client base in the global market using social media platforms, referrals, emails, cold calling, trade fairs, and conferences.
  • Contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, and align deals with internal SOPs.
  • Facilitate and lead sales processes, ensuring effective conversion of inquiries into active discussions through needs analysis and probing techniques.

Sales and Negotiations

  • Prepare and manage KYC, NDAs, sales contracts, pricing, and other specifications in collaboration with the Legal Team.
  • Prudently negotiate pricing and customizations to maintain optimal profit margins.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely product delivery and adherence to deadlines.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor competitors' activities, including product specifications, market share, and new product opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends to identify the need for new product development or modifications to existing products.

Strategic Planning and Reporting

  • Plan sales forecasts, budgeting, and marketing activities, and present data-driven insights to management.
  • Ensure timely payment collection and client satisfaction through effective follow-ups.

Marketing and Client Engagement

  • Revive inactive clients, sustain sales with existing clients, and expand the client base through referrals and testimonials.
  • Explore innovative marketing avenues, present case studies, and create impactful content like blogs and social media posts.

Candidate Profile:

  • Comprehensive understanding of internal guidelines and compliance standards (e.g., ICH, WHO-GMP, Regulated & Semi-Regulated Markets).
  • 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, specifically in the export market.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a research-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
