Role Description

This is a full-time Business Development Executive role located on-site in the Mohali district. The role involves tasks such as new business development, lead generation, business communication, and account management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify and research potential leads and markets, targeting both new and existing customers.

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through various channels (cold calls, emails, networking events, social media, etc.).
  • Qualify leads by understanding customer needs, challenges, and business objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities for business expansion.
  • Sales & Negotiation:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.

  • Negotiate terms and agreements to close new business deals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Market Research & Strategy:

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to refine strategies and campaigns that attract leads.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align business development activities with overall company goals.

  • Provide feedback to product development based on market insights and customer needs.
  • Reporting & Analytics:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and progress through CRM software.

  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, leads, and market trends.


Requirements:

  • Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, preferably in Sports nutrition

    .
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

  • Excellent negotiation skills and an understanding of sales processes.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset to identify opportunities and track performance.
  • Preferably from Chandigarh Tri-city


  • Education:

  • A Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Technology or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience in Sports nutrition is a plus.
