Business Development Associate (EdTech Sales)

Location: Trivandrum

We are now looking for experienced Business Development Associates (BDAs) who are passionate about education, career transformation, and driving impactful sales.

Role Overview

As an experienced BDA, you will take charge of the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to conversion. Unlike an entry-level sales role, this position demands strategic thinking, consultative counselling skills, and proven sales experience. You’ll play a key role in shaping learner journeys while contributing to the rapid growth of our academy.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the complete sales funnel: lead generation, counselling, follow-ups, and closing enrollments.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective learners (students and working professionals).
  • Conduct career guidance sessions through calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Understand learner profiles, recommend suitable programs, and position Cokonet Academy as the best solution.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and ensure smooth coordination with operations for learner onboarding.
  • Share insights with the leadership team to improve sales processes and campaign strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in EdTech sales, inside sales, academic counselling, or career guidance.
  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam (mandatory).
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • High ownership, self-motivation, and ability to work in a target-driven environment.
  • Graduation in B. Sc. CS, MBA, B. Tech, or any equivalent discipline.
  • Passion for education, technology, and learner success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Trivandrum, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • EdTech Sales: 2 years (Required)

Language:

  • English and Malayalam (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
