Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and follow-up on inbound leads
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions and services
• Prepare and present business proposals and sales presentations
• Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and performance metrics
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on go-to-market strategies
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates using CRM tools
• Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences to enhance brand visibility

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or B-Tech)
• 0–1 year of experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation abilities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital communication platforms
• Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and results-driven attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in B2B SaaS, hospitality tech, e-commerce, or similar domains
• Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, or Salesforce
• Basic understanding of digital marketing and lead generation strategies
