Business Development Executive (BDE)
UMA RUBBER AND PLASTIC PRODUCT is a rubber product manufacturing company incorporated in 1991.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive (BDE) with a strong background in the polymer industry. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our customer base across domestic and international markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify new business opportunities through market research, industry networks, and existing customer references.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in OEMs, distributors, and industrial buyers.
Promote the company’s rubber and polymer product lines to potential customers.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and technical discussions to clients.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, R&D, production) to customize solutions based on client needs.
Drive business expansion strategies in new industry segments and untapped territories.
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to suggest product or strategy improvements.
Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer visits for brand and product promotion.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and pipeline through CRM tools.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Minimum Requirement:
Degree/Diploma in Polymer, Rubber, or Mechanical Engineering OR
BBA/MBA in Marketing with proven experience in the polymer industry.
2–5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or key account management in the rubber/polymer/plastic sector.
Strong understanding of industrial applications of polymers, especially in OEMs, automotive, construction, or pharma.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle B2B negotiations and client coordination.
Knowledge of lead generation, sales funnel building, and customer retention strategies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits.
Fluency in English and Hindi; additional regional language is a plus.

Selection Criteria for Business Development Executive
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹65,000 per month + 1%0 Incentives on sales 10 lakhs
(Negotiable based on polymer industry experience and client base)
Education (Minimum Requirement):
Diploma/Degree in Polymer, Rubber, or Mechanical Engineering OR
BBA/MBA with polymer industry exposure
Work Experience:
2–5 years in business development, sales, or technical marketing
Experience in rubber, silicone, plastic, or industrial polymer segments
Skills & Competencies:
In-depth understanding of polymer applications and market segments
Relationship management with OEMs, dealers, and procurement teams
Strategic and analytical thinking for new market development
Ability to communicate technical concepts in simple business language
Lead tracking, CRM management, and sales reporting
Additional Preferences:
Existing industry network in automotive, construction, pharma, or engineering sectors
Experience in export sales or global customer handling
Participation in industrial exhibitions or B2B promotional events
