Business Development Executive - Healthcare Technology Company: PurpleIPD Location: Gujarat / Mumbai About PurpleIPD: PurpleIPD is a leading provider of innovative healthcare technology solutions designed to streamline operations and enhance patient care in hospitals. Our cutting-edge platform is tailored for National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) accredited, multispecialty, and super specialty hospitals. As we expand our footprint in Western India, we are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Executive to drive our growth in the Gujarat and Mumbai markets. Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive to spearhead our sales initiatives in the Gujarat and Mumbai regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling technology solutions or medical equipment directly to doctors, department heads, and hospital owners. This role requires a deep understanding of the hospital ecosystem, exceptional sales acumen, and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers. As the face of PurpleIPD in the region, you will be instrumental in establishing our brand and driving market penetration. Key Responsibilities: Market Penetration: Identify, target, and aggressively pursue new business opportunities with NABH hospitals, multispecialty, and super specialty hospitals with over 50 beds across Gujarat and Mumbai. End-to-End Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire sales process from lead generation and prospecting to product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and closure. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within target hospitals, including hospital owners, directors, medical superintendents, and heads of departments. Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the PurpleIPD platform to effectively articulate its value proposition and benefits to potential clients. Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations. Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to provide feedback to the product and management teams. Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and lead status in the company CRM. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of proven field sales experience, specifically in selling to doctors, hospital administrators, and owners in multispecialty or super specialty hospitals. Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in selling Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), medical devices, or other healthcare technology products is highly preferred. Language Proficiency: Fluency in Gujarati is mandatory. Excellent command of English and Hindi is also required. Sales Acumen: Demonstrable ability to drive the sales process with a consultative and solutions-oriented approach. Strong negotiation and closing skills are essential. Presentation and Communication: Must be highly presentable with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to engage and build rapport with senior medical professionals is crucial. Self-Motivated: A proactive and results-driven individual who can work independently and manage their territory effectively.
