Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive sales and generate leads in the construction sector. The role involves identifying potential clients, promoting construction services/projects, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business leads in the construction industry (residential, commercial, infrastructure projects).
  • Reach out to potential clients via cold calling, emails, networking, and industry events.
  • Understand client requirements and present appropriate construction solutions, services, or project offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and quotations.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and real estate developers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, project management, finance) to ensure smooth project onboarding.
  • Track and report lead generation, client follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets as assigned by management.
  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and construction industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development/sales in the construction sector.
  • Good understanding of construction processes, services, and client requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to generate leads independently and convert them into clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online prospecting.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and result-oriented mindset.
