Role Overview: The Business Development Executive (BDE) will play a crucial role in driving Zuvy’s regional expansion by identifying business opportunities, onboarding local vendors, and maintaining strong partnerships. This role demands excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of local markets, and the ability to lead and coordinate effectively within a team — all while operating in a flexible work-from-home environment. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Identify and onboard local retailers, kirana stores, wholesalers, and vendors across assigned territories. Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with local partners and market stakeholders. Develop and execute regional business development plans to achieve sales and growth targets. Coordinate with team members and assist the Regional Manager in implementing local strategies. Conduct regular virtual and on-ground visits to ensure smooth vendor operations and satisfaction. Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Ensure timely reporting of performance metrics, vendor updates, and market insights. Represent Zuvy as a trusted partner and brand ambassador in the local business community. Key Skills and Competencies: Team Coordination & Relationship Building – Ability to work collaboratively, support colleagues, and maintain long-term partnerships. Sales & Negotiation Skills – Strong persuasive communication and deal-closing abilities. Market Knowledge – Good understanding of local retail, FMCG, and regional business dynamics. Goal Orientation – Self-motivated and target-driven with a focus on measurable outcomes. Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local languages. Analytical Thinking – Ability to evaluate data, understand trends, and propose practical solutions. Adaptability & Ownership – Comfortable working independently in a dynamic startup environment.
