Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive (BDE), you will drive revenue growth through both B2B partnerships (builders, architects, interior designers, electrical contractors, and dealers) and B2C direct sales (end customers for smart homes). You will be responsible for lead generation, client engagement, project conversions, and establishing long-term relationships that strengthen Heseos brand presence in the smart home market.

Key Responsibilities

A. B2B Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new architects, interior designers, and builders as business partners.
  • Present Heseos’ smart automation solutions through presentations, demos, and site visits.
  • Collaborate with dealers and distributors to expand sales channels and meet territory targets.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation in coordination with the design and project teams.
  • Track lead conversion metrics, follow up on client discussions, and close institutional sales.
  • Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and product demo sessions to promote B2B visibility.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with project stakeholders for repeat business.

B. B2C Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage leads from digital platforms, referrals, and walk-ins.
  • Conduct home automation demos for end customers and help them visualize solutions tailored to their space.
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed sales through effective consultative selling.
  • Educate customers on product features, app setup, and warranty/support processes.
  • Coordinate with the installation and service teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure post-sales customer satisfaction, reviews, and referrals for future business.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of new B2B partners onboarded (architects, builders, dealers).
  • Monthly revenue and order conversions (B2B & B2C).
  • Lead-to-conversion ratio.
  • Customer satisfaction and repeat business rate.
  • Timely reporting, CRM updates, and documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Sales / Business Development, preferably in home automation, electricals, lighting, or IoT products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and technical understanding of automation products.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets / CRM tools and basic understanding of proposal preparation.
