Role Description

Business Development Associate (Full-time, On-site — Gurugram)

The Business Development Associate will drive top-of-funnel growth by generating qualified leads, conducting market and competitor research, preparing and delivering client presentations, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. The role will proactively identify new opportunities, support proposal development, and help advance the company’s growth and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound and inbound channels.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitor research to inform targeting and messaging.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and demos.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Actively identify, prioritize, and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and update the customer database/CRM with accurate, current information.

  • Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and capability decks aligned to client needs.

  • Perform timely follow-ups with prospects and clients to progress deals and close opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handover and delivery.
  • Track KPIs and report pipeline health, conversion rates, and insights to management.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Lead Generation and Market Research
  • Strong Presentation Skills and the ability to prepare and deliver effective Presentations
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in the consulting or sustainability industry is a plus
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Preferred relevant work experience (2-4 years)
