Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Associate (MBA) to lead strategic growth efforts, build client networks, and support government liaising, proposals, and tendering. This is an ideal opportunity for MBA graduates passionate about urban development, infrastructure consultancy, or public-sector strategy to combine business acumen with societal impact.

Key Responsibilities

Drive lead generation, client engagement, and strategic partnerships in urban and infrastructure sectors

Prepare project proposals, EOIs, and RFP responses for government and private-sector tenders

Manage the tendering process end-to-end, including documentation and submission

Coordinate with government bodies, urban local bodies, and planning departments

Conduct market research to identify trends, funding opportunities, and policy shifts

Develop business presentations, capability statements, and marketing materials

Work closely with technical teams (Urban Planners, GIS experts) for cohesive project delivery

Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and contract negotiation

Requirements

Education:

MBA (Marketing, Urban Management, Infrastructure, Strategy, or Public Policy preferred)

Background in Urban Planning/Architecture is a plus but not mandatory

Experience:

2–5 years in business development, consultancy, infrastructure, or government-facing roles

Exposure to urban development or public sector projects is desirable

Skills:

Excellent communication and proposal-writing skills

Strong understanding of government procurement and tendering processes

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with urban development policies and government schemes (Smart Cities, AMRUT, etc.)

Ability to multitask and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
