About The Job

Work as a business analyst-cum- consultant for P&C Insurance application. The candidate would work as liaison between business and technical teams to develop a common understanding and elicit, modify requirements, analyze requirements, analyze incident/ defects/ problems to identify root cause.

Responsibilities

• Business Analysis, requirements elicitation, problem/ incident analysis, conducting workshops, etc.
• Coordinate with onsite counterpart /customer on BA activities and deliverables.
• Provide pre-construction walkthrough to development and QA teams.
• Attend post-construction walkthroughs to ensure the developed feature is in line with requirements.
• Own BA deliverables.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst in US property and casualty insurance domain.
• Good understanding of personal or commercial line policies
• Experience on COTS implementation project for personal or commercial lines
• Working on at least 3 of the following areas during policy admin system implementation –
• UI
• UW issues
• Rating
• Forms
• Product Model
• Good functional understanding of OOTB products
• Thorough understanding of ISO/NCCI/Bureau and Commercial products.
• Will provide pre-construction walkthrough to development and QA teams.
• Will attend post-construction walkthroughs to ensure the developed feature is in line with requirements.
• Will own BA deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An independent contributor.

Good To Have

Candidates with these additional skills on their resumes have an added advantage when their profiles are being assessed. Some of them are as follows:

• AINS certification or any other equivalent certification.
• P&C Insurance Associate Certification in the last version, i.e. Las Lenas.
