Role Overview

Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, and customers to define business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and discussions to capture detailed business processes.
• Analyze current workflows and identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities for AI-driven optimization.

2. Documentation & Communication

• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, and other requirement documents.
• Create use-case documentation and feature specifications for development teams.
• Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery.

3. Data & Process Analysis

• Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate the feasibility of AI and automation solutions for business problems.
• Work with data engineers, ML teams, and product owners to refine solution design.

4. Project Coordination

• Assist in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional coordination.
• Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Support UAT planning, test case preparation, and defect resolution.

5. Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a point of contact between business users and technical teams.
• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies proactively.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.

Required Skills

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks and SDLC/Agile methodologies.
• Experience working on AI, automation, data analytics, or enterprise digital products (good to have).
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau (any).
• Ability to interpret data and generate insights.

Soft Skills

• High ownership mentality and attention to detail.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, ECBA, etc.) is a plus.
