Summary:

Lead analysis, documentation, and delivery of healthcare solutions focused on workflow optimization, data integration, and regulatory compliance (HL7, FHIR, HIPAA). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate healthcare needs into actionable business and system requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze & optimize healthcare workflows and data pipelines (EHR, HIE, payer systems).
Aggregate and standardize healthcare data for analytics and reporting.
Conduct gap analysis, ensure interoperability, and support value-based care initiatives.
Work with data teams to develop dashboards, KPIs, and predictive models.
Lead UAT, change management, and training for new systems/workflows.
Maintain BRDs, functional specs, process maps, and data dictionaries.
Ensure compliance with privacy/security regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS, Business, Health Informatics, or related field.
Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, CCDA, X12/EDI) and coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED).
Proficiency in BI tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
Experience with EHRs (Epic, Cerner) and claims/HIE systems.
Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS mandates.
Certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, CPHI) preferred.
