Your Responsibilities As a Business Analyst

  • Drive discussions with product owner and/or business partners to understand the process, the problem, and brainstorming for the solution scenarios.
  • Actively engage with the product owner or business SME to translate solution needs into actionable user stories, analysis and specification of client requirements.
  • Partner with product owners/ SME’s to define & refine acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with developers on reviewing user stories for understanding and scoring.
  • Negotiate with product owners/ business experts on alternative solutions.
  • Write test cases for user stories.
  • Perform/ coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure functionality meets business needs before each product release.
  • Secure approval and change management activities with senior product manager or product owner before release.
  • Accurate documentation of requirements and input to solution design.
  • Produce clear, unambiguous, and grammatically correct documentation, often under time pressure.
  • Fact finding, facilitation and brainstorming to get to a complete set of requirements.
  • Capturing requirements in a logical manner as input to the IT development teams.
  • An understanding of the core product sets and functional capabilities.
  • Knowledge of systems development life cycles such as Agile and waterfall.
  • Experience of data analysis and process development methods.
  • Negotiating with clients regarding alternative options or approaches to meet their requirements.
  • Maintaining requirements catalogue to avoid scope deviation and have experience of requirements management tools e.g. Confluence, Jira.
  • Monitor change control from a scope, cost, and quality perspective.
  • Contribute to project debrief and lessons learned sessions.
  • Provision of reports on project progress to the Partners and management team as required.
  • Awareness of change management and implementation challenges associated with implementation.
  • Product demonstration to client.
  • Drive customer engagement from POC to implementation and BAU

Skillsets We Require

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and systems.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines.
  • Good knowledge in project management tools, such as JIRA or similar.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Taking ownership from the beginning of the project.

Pedigree And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, MBA or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience into Project Management, Business Analyst.
  • Experience in the technology or software development industry is preferred.
