Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst And Freight Management professional to join our mid-level team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes and managing freight operations while leveraging tools such as Odoo and ERP systems to optimize workflows and stakeholder collaboration.
Qualifications And Skills
- Business Analysis (Mandatory skill): Expert in evaluating business processes, identifying opportunities, and delivering actionable insights to ensure process improvement.
- Freight Management (Mandatory skill): Proven experience in managing and optimizing freight operations including logistics planning, shipment tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Odoo (Mandatory skill): Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Odoo ERP for logistics and business operations.
- ERP Systems: Strong understanding and practical experience in designing, deploying, and supporting ERP systems to streamline business processes and data management.
- Agile Methodologies: Ability to work within Agile frameworks and contribute to iterative development, ensuring quick adaptation to business changes.
- Process Mapping: Proficient in mapping out business workflows, documenting current and future state processes, and identifying areas for optimization within freight and logistics domains.
- Stakeholder Management: Track record of effective collaboration with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, align expectations, and facilitate project delivery.
- Requirements Gathering: Skilled in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements from stakeholders, ensuring all functional needs are captured accurately.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve business processes related to freight management to optimize costs, workflow efficiency, and service quality.
- Work closely with logistics, operations, and technology teams to facilitate the successful implementation of freight management solutions using Odoo and other ERP tools.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, documenting actionable specifications for new processes or system enhancements specific to freight and supply chain domains.
- Map existing processes, identify gaps, and propose effective process redesign strategies to enhance operational performance in logistics and transportation management.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to monitor key freight metrics, track performance improvements, and inform strategic decisions.
- Coordinate and communicate efficiently between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth project delivery and alignment on business objectives.
- Support the transition of freight management projects through all project phases from inception and design to deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry standards, conducting testing and validation for implemented solutions in freight management and business analysis areas.
