Role Overview: As a Business Analyst and Freight Management professional at OCTAGOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes and managing freight operations. You will work closely with logistics, operations, and technology teams to implement freight management solutions and lead requirements gathering sessions to document specifications for new processes or system enhancements. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and improve business processes related to freight management to optimize costs, workflow efficiency, and service quality. - Work closely with logistics, operations, and technology teams to implement freight management solutions using Odoo and other ERP tools. - Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and document actionable specifications for new processes or system enhancements. - Map existing processes, identify gaps, and propose process redesign strategies to enhance operational performance in logistics and transportation management. - Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to monitor key freight metrics, track performance improvements, and inform strategic decisions. - Coordinate efficiently between internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment on business objectives. - Support the transition of freight management projects through all project phases from inception and design to deployment and ongoing optimization. - Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry standards by conducting testing and validation for implemented solutions in freight management and business analysis areas. Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Business Analysis: Evaluate business processes, identify opportunities, and deliver actionable insights for process improvement. - Proficiency in Freight Management: Manage and optimize freight operations, logistics planning, shipment tracking, and vendor coordination. - Hands-on experience with Odoo: Implement, configure, and support Odoo ERP for logistics and business operations. - Understanding of ERP Systems: Design, deploy, and support ERP systems to streamline business processes and data management. - Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Work within Agile frameworks and contribute to iterative development for quick adaptation to business changes. - Skill in Process Mapping: Map out business workflows, document current and future state processes, and identify areas for optimization within freight and logistics domains. - Experience in Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, align expectations, and facilitate project delivery. - Ability in Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements accurately to meet functional needs.,
