Objective Of This Role As a Business Analyst specializing in JIRA, you will play a pivotal role in driving our project success by leveraging your expertise in JIRA to optimize our project management and software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, stakeholders, and project managers, to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure the seamless integration of JIRA into our daily operations. Key Responsibilities Utilize your in-depth knowledge of JIRA to customize workflows, dashboards, and reports that meet the needs of various stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for all JIRA-related queries and issues, providing technical guidance and support to team members. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance team members proficiency in JIRA and promote best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Analyse and document business processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains. Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements and resolve conflicts or ambiguities. Work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements into actionable tasks within JIRA. Monitor project progress and performance metrics using JIRA reports and dashboards, providing insights and recommendations to enhance project delivery. Data analysis & MIS for current product performance using advanced excel & functions, charts, macros, SQL and Power BI dashboards. Skills & Qualification Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience 2 years working as a Business Analyst in a software development environment. Extensive hands-on experience with JIRA, including configuring workflows, customizing dashboards, and creating reports. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, JIRA Administrator) are a plus.
