Shift Timing: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM IST (Flexible; availability required for scheduled client calls)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Analyst (BA) to join our delivery and product teams. The ideal candidate will excel in requirement gathering, documentation, stakeholder communication, and translating business needs into clear technical specifications for development teams. This role is critical to ensuring smooth project execution, clarity of scope, and alignment between clients and internal teams.

Note: This is a hybrid work-from-office role based in Chandigarh. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site as required.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Documentation

• Conduct client meetings, discovery workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions.
• Convert business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Prepare critical documents including BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, and process flows.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, change logs, and feature backlogs.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the communication bridge between clients and internal teams.
• Clearly communicate requirements, changes, and timelines to all stakeholders.
• Ensure client expectations are aligned with technical feasibility and product scope.

Project Coordination Support

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, Designers, and QA throughout the lifecycle.
• Break down requirements into actionable tasks for the team.
• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination.
• Track requirement progress and ensure timely delivery of features.

Analysis & Process Mapping

• Analyse business processes, identify gaps, and propose optimized solutions.
• Create flowcharts, wireframes, and user journey maps to illustrate workflows.
• Work with UI/UX teams to validate prototypes and user experience expectations.

Quality & Validation

• Assist QA teams in creating test scenarios and validating delivered features.
• Perform UAT with clients and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early and recommend mitigation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with documentation tools: Confluence, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Jira, Figma, etc.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong ownership mindset.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Immediate joiners highly preferred.
• Based in the Tricity region (Chandigarh/Mohali/Panchkula) or willing to relocate.
• Experience in client-facing BA roles on mobile/web application projects.
• Comfortable with hybrid work and collaboration across time zones.
