Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for achieving the branch's revenue, profit, and growth targets, and ensuring alignment with the company's vision, mission, and values.
  • Provide the branch team with daily guidance, leadership, and support on any issues relating to operations, sales, customer service, finance, human resources, and compliance.
  • Work closely with the Management to establish and execute the branch's business plan and strategies, and to identify and resolve any challenges or opportunities.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance with ISO standards and any relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
  • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
  • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
  • Ensure compliance to the operational SOPs.
  • Track on a periodic basis the operational accuracy output of the branch.
  • Track, Lead and Guide Periodically on the sales budget with the sales team.
  • Ensure all audit and file/job/monthly closing hours are adhered too on time.
  • Maintain harmony and balance in the team and resolve conflicts if any.
  • Monitor and analyze the branch's performance and financial reports, and take corrective actions as needed to improve the branch's efficiency, profitability, and competitiveness.
  • Identify and implement new business opportunities, products, and services to expand the branch's market share and customer base.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends, developments, and innovations in the freight forwarding and logistics industry, and provide inputs and suggestions for improving the branch's and the company's offerings and operations.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the senior management.



Qualifications & Competencies

  • Proven track record of success in Freight Forwarding Sales
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant industry experience
  • Bachelor or MBA degree
  • Strong Sales Skills including prospecting, negotiations and closing
  • Excellent interpersonal, commercial & communication skills to build & manage profitable business relationships with customers, suppliers & stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, Target oriented and Team Player
  • Good communication skills in English, Hindi & respective regional language, both oral and written.
