Job Description

As a Branch Manager in the Branch Banking department, your primary role is to manage and scale up the retail banking business for the branch. You will create strategies to achieve growth targets by efficiently managing operations and resources. Your responsibilities include developing relationships with local dealers to boost business volume and ensure high-quality customer service delivery. You will collaborate closely with product and operations teams to drive customer acquisition and deepen relationships. Additionally, you will build teams, systems, processes, and culture relevant to branch network scale, contributing significantly to branch banking objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Own the P&L for the branch, overseeing distribution operations, customer service, administration, and sales. - Identify sales opportunities based on local market conditions. - Achieve product targets including CASA, Investments, Insurance, Trade Services, and Term Deposits. - Share best practices and market insights with other branches and headquarters. - Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards. - Network to enhance the branch's presence and reputation. - Stay updated on market trends and provide reports on market movement. - Establish the Bank and its brand in the catchment area. - Cultivate relationships with individual and corporate customers. Secondary Responsibilities: - Lead manpower planning, recruitment, and training processes for on-roll and off-roll employees. - Provide training, coaching, and guidance to branch personnel. - Evaluate new initiatives for operational efficiency and ensure successful implementation. - Collaborate with other branch departments to offer products and services to customers. Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities: - Mentor senior team members on customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity. - Promote automation and digital enablement to meet customer needs effectively. - Recruit and retain top talent to support the Bank's growth targets. Qualification Required: - Graduation in any discipline. - Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in the banking sector.,
