Job Description

As an experienced professional in BPO Pricing, your role will involve working in the Commercials and Pricing Strategy team of a Top Tier 1 IT Services Company in Gurgaon. You will be responsible for various commercial activities such as building and updating commercial models, bringing innovative financial ideas, contributing to effort estimates, and safeguarding the company's interests. Your core responsibilities will also include validating costings, driving commercial discussions, obtaining necessary approvals, and preparing pricing-associated documents for internal evaluation and client submissions. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will be expected to build financial/commercials/pricing templates, create domain-specific training materials, and track industry trends and client requirements. It is essential that you have a strong background in managed service pricing, along with a post-graduate degree such as an MBA from a top B-school in India or a qualification as a Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst. You should also possess a thorough understanding of P&Ls, cash flows, and have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and formulae automation. To excel in this role, you must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, perform under high pressure, and meet stringent deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for influencing stakeholders effectively. Prior experience in investment research, equity research, business modeling, or valuation would be advantageous, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and exposure to the Communication, Media, and Technology sectors. In summary, as a DGM/Senior Manager in BD Commercials for the Communication, Media, and Technology vertical, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success and pricing strategy for the high growth BPO space. Your ability to analyze numbers, communicate effectively, and innovate in pricing strategies will be key to your success in this dynamic and challenging role. - Build and update various commercial models - Bring innovative financial ideas - Contribute to effort estimates and transition estimates - Safeguard company's interests - Validate costings and highlight non-value adding costs - Drive commercial discussions and meetings - Obtain necessary approvals in a timely manner - Prepare pricing-associated documents for internal evaluation and client submissions - Build financial/commercials/pricing templates - Create domain-specific training materials - Track industry trends and client requirements - Conduct competitive analysis and capability mapping - Must have experience in managed service pricing - Post-graduate degree in MBA or qualification as a Chartered Accountant/Chartered Financial Analyst - Strong understanding of P&Ls, cash flows, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines - Excellent communication skills - Good to have prior experience in investment research or equity research - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with exposure to VBA/Macros - Exposure to Communication, Media, and Technology sectors is preferable,
