Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in hospital-based biomedical engineering. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting medical equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair medical devices and systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment across all hospital departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and medical device regulations (e.g., NABH, AERB).
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of service records, calibration logs, and inventory.
• Liaise with equipment vendors for service contracts, repairs, and procurement support.
• Conduct training sessions for clinical staff on proper use and care of biomedical equipment.
• Support equipment planning and technical evaluations for procurement processes.
• Participate in audits, quality checks, and equipment commissioning processes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals and equipment schematics.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to emergencies under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (NABH, IEC, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tertiary care or multi-specialty hospitals.
• Familiarity with hospital asset management systems.
• Certification in medical equipment safety or related training (preferred).
