Job Summary

The BIM Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BIM implementation strategy across projects and ensure adherence to BIM standards and protocols.
• Manage the development and delivery of BIM models in coordination with architects, structural engineers, and consultants.
• Proficient in architectural and structural disciplines, and capable of coordinating effectively with MEP teams.
• Oversee model quality control and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings (Clash Detection, Design Review, etc.).
• Support project teams with technical BIM expertise and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific BIM workflows.
• Train and mentor team members on BIM tools and processes (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Collaborate with IT and management to ensure optimal performance of BIM-related infrastructure.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure BIM deliverables are met on schedule.
• Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in BIM Management.
• Proficient in BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, etc.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards like ISO 19650, LOD, COBie, etc.
• Deep knowledge of architectural and structural modeling, and ability to coordinate across MEP disciplines.
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience in clash detection, model-based collaboration, and design review.
• Familiarity with cloud collaboration platforms and common data environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Autodesk or other BIM platforms.
• Knowledge of Dynamo scripting, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
• Experience in infrastructure or MEP projects is an added advantage.
