Job Description

Language Proficiency:
Japanese (JLPT N3 or above) and English (business-level fluency).
8+ years of IT project/program management experience in global or Japan-based engagements.
Proven track record managing
software development, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects.
Strong experience in
budgeting, financial tracking, and vendor coordination.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in managing executive-level stakeholders.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

IT Program Delivery:
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of IT programs (infrastructure, applications, or digital transformation) ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the key liaison between Japanese and global teams, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and alignment with business goals.
Budget & Cost Control:
Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of costs to ensure profitability and accountability.
Automation & Process Improvement:
Identify automation opportunities and implement tools or workflows that enhance efficiency and accuracy in program execution.
KPI & Reporting:
Define success metrics, regularly track and present program KPIs, and ensure structured project closure with lessons learned.
Risk & Issue Management:
Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers; create mitigation strategies to ensure delivery success.
Governance & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks, documentation standards, and organizational compliance policies.
Team Leadership:
Guide cross-functional teams across geographies, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
