Role Overview:

As our Tender Manager, you will play a pivotal role in growing Crystal Works’ pipeline by securing tenders, cultivating vendor relationships, and negotiating favorable terms. You will ensure meticulous end-to-end management of the tender process—from attending pre-bid meetings to final submission and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender Engagement

-Attend tender-related meetings and pre-bid briefings.

• Source and bring relevant tenders to the attention of the company.

• Vendor Interaction & Negotiation

-Communicate and engage with vendors regarding tender opportunities.

• Negotiate technical and commercial aspects to optimize tender outcomes.

• Proposal Preparation & Submission

-Draft, collate, and prepare tender documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Upload and submit tenders on relevant portals (e.g., GeM, eProcurement), and follow-up as needed.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

-Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., technical, finance, legal) for timely and compliant submissions.

• Documentation & Tracking

-Maintain records of tender submissions, vendor communications, clarifications, and outcomes.

• Tender Strategy & Compliance

-Interpret tender requirements and strategize responses that maximize win potential while minimizing risk. 

• Post-Submission Activities

• Address post-submission queries or clarifications from tendering authorities

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience:

  Minimum of 3-6+ years in tender management.

• Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent verbal and written communication, especially in English.
• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with emphasis on Word and Excel.

• Familiarity with Indian government tender portals (e.g., GeM, MoD, MHA) is a significant advantage.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline; additional technical, commerce, or engineering qualifications are a plus.

• Attributes: Proactive attitude, team player, outcome-driven, and able to manage deadlines efficiently.
