Job Description

Job Title: BI Developer

Experience: 3–10 Years

Location: Kochi

Work Mode: Onsite

Overview

Key Responsibilities

BI Solution Development:
Design, develop, and implement BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations aligned with business requirements.
Data Integration:
Perform ETL activities to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business users to understand reporting needs and convert them into effective technical solutions.
System Optimization:
Monitor and optimize BI systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Documentation:
Maintain clear documentation of BI solutions, workflows, and processes for consistency and ease of maintenance.
Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues related to reports and dashboards.
Data Quality Management:
Identify data quality issues and collaborate with data owners to resolve them.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar data analytics role.
Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SSRS.
Experience with cloud-based BI platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and query optimization.
Proficiency in T-SQL, DAX, Power Query.
Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
Knowledge of data governance, security practices, and compliance standards.
Ability to analyze large datasets and present insights in a clear, actionable manner.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., SSIS).
BI tool certifications (Power BI, Tableau) are an added advantage.
