Banquet Captain

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, timeliness, and profitability of the food served to the guests at the establishment. Your responsibilities will include: - Maintaining food quality standards (AFTT), ensuring proper serving and cleaning to the satisfaction of guests, and overseeing the availability and quality of raw materials, equipment, and manpower. - Implementing environment-friendly practices such as waste segregation, safe disposal, and recycling to contribute towards sustainability. - Documenting processes and activities, and submitting timely MIS reports on budgets, costing, variances, and profitability to the management. - Assisting in obtaining necessary certifications like FSSAI, Pollution Control, and ISO to meet regulatory requirements. - Establishing robust systems in stores, production, and serving departments to ensure consistency in tastes, safety, hygiene, cost optimization, and accurate reporting. - Analyzing guest feedback and implementing necessary remedial actions to enhance guest satisfaction. - Fulfilling additional responsibilities during events to cover for any absenteeism in other services. Key Performance Indicators for this role will include: - Ensuring guest satisfaction in terms of taste, temperature, timeliness, and food quality. - Maintaining hygiene and upkeep of the kitchen, equipment, and stores as per Food Safety Standards. - Overseeing the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, stores, and cleaning staff to meet food safety requirements. - Implementing cost control measures to optimize utilization and minimize wastage. - Timely and accurate MIS reporting to track key metrics.
