Role Overview

This role is designed for an engineer who will primarily contribute to backend development while supporting infrastructure-oriented initiatives. The position demands strong fundamentals in computer science, proficiency in modern backend technologies, and the ability to work in an environment where infrastructure code and backend services closely intersect. The engineer will contribute to the stability, scalability, and reliability of platform services while adopting modern development practices such as AI-assisted coding and debugging.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability

• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams on service-oriented architectures, production deployments, and infrastructure-as-code components

• Contribute to API design, service orchestration, and system-level integrations

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive long-term fixes

• Build internal tools and automation that improve engineering productivity

• Apply AI-based tools for debugging, development acceleration, and code quality improvement

• Follow secure coding, documentation, and testing practices

• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture sessions

Required Skills and Experience

• 1 to 3 years of hands-on backend engineering experience

• Strong programming skills in Java, C++, or C#, along with experience in relevant web frameworks

• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving techniques

• Strong foundation in OS concepts, databases, networking, and distributed systems fundamentals

• Good debugging skills across application, infrastructure, and networking layers

• Experience using AI tools within the development lifecycle for coding, testing, and troubleshooting

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container ecosystems (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms
