Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer located in the Greater Kolkata Area.We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in NestJS or Python to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using NestJS (TypeScript) or Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask).Architect scalable, secure, and efficient microservices-based systems.Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support frontend applications.Optimize database performance, including schema design and query optimization (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).Ensure application security, authentication, and authorization best practices (OAuth, JWT, RBAC, etc.).Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, frameworks, and best practices. Requirements: Expertise in NestJS (TypeScript) or Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask).Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).Solid understanding of system security, authentication, and authorization.Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest, etc.) and best practices.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in an agile environment.
