About the job:

You will be part of the Enterprise Information Security team responsible for operating and improving the client’s AWS Cloud security posture. Your primary focus will be secure access and secrets management, incident detection & remediation, and enabling a smooth migration from Cloud 1.0 → Cloud 2.0 by designing scalable IAM models and governance controls. You’ll own day-to-day cloud security operations, automate repetitive security checks and access reviews, evaluate and onboard centralized security tooling, and work closely with CloudOps, App and InfoSec teams to close vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with enterprise standards. This role requires strong hands-on AWS security experience, a zero-trust mindset, and an aptitude for automating security workflows and driving cross-functional remediation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage & govern AWS accounts, resources and access models (Cloud 1.0 → Cloud 2.0 migration).
• Architect and implement role provisioning, access approvals and least-privilege IAM models.
• Monitor cloud security tools, detect incidents, perform RCA and remediate misconfigurations/exposures.
• Implement and maintain centralised secrets solutions and CI/CD credential management.
• Redefine/operate governance, policies and controls for new cloud networking/infrastructure setups.
• Evaluate and onboard centralized security monitoring platforms and tools
• Automate access reviews, security checks, provisioning and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with CloudOps, App teams and InfoSec to close vulnerabilities and report status.

Requirements:

• 6–8 years in Cloud Security / SecOps with ≥2 years hands-on AWS Cloud security experience.
• Hands-on with AWS IAM, Secrets Manager and cloud security tooling (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, Config).
• Proven incident response & remediation experience in AWS environments.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting for automation.
• Good working knowledge of AWS networking (VPCs, routing, security groups, NACLs).
• Experience integrating secrets and identity into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and cross-functional stakeholder skills.

Good To Have:

Candidates with these additional skills on their resumes have an added advantage when their profiles are being assessed. Some of them are as follows:

• Experience with Wiz, CloudKnox, HashiCorp Vault or similar platforms.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Exposure to Azure/Azure AD or multi-cloud security patterns.
• AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications.
• Experience with automated remediation (Lambda, Step Functions) and centralized logging/analytics (ELK, Splunk).
• Familiarity with enterprise frameworks (NIST, CIS benchmarks) and large-scale cloud migrations.
