Your Role
As an AU/UK Senior Accountant, you will:
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of internal and external reporting requirements, including monthlymanagement reports, statutory reports, and vendor-facing financial summaries.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of AU and UK tax obligations (e.g.BAS, IAS PAYG, Corporation Tax, VAT).
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as vendors, auditors, and tax authorities to meet compliance and reporting deadlines.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and templates, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the finance team for month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals with high attention to detail.
- Assist in the design, development, and automation of financial models and dashboards.
- Keep abreast of taxation changes, statutory requirements, and accounting standards in AU and the UK.
- Contribute to internal audits, compliance checks, and control reviews.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions.

Qualifications and experience:
- Graduate of B.S. Accountancy or any bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Proven experience in financial reporting and tax compliance, particularly in AU and UK contexts
- Hands-on experience using Xero
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Comfortable working with SQL for data extraction and analysis
- Prior experience in an Australian or UK-based company is highly preferred
