Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform internal audits across departments and functions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Support statutory and tax audit processes by preparing and organizing required documentation.
  • Analyze financial records, operational processes, and control systems to assess risk and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare audit reports with observations, findings, and actionable recommendations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of audit issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date audit working papers and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and audit schedules.
  • Monitor compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
  • Identify fraud risks and report any suspicious transactions.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and respond to audit queries as required.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, audit procedures, and risk management
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Tally/ERP systems, and audit tools
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and a problem-solving mindset
