As we expand our dealer network and develop more technically advanced products, we are seeking an Audio Technician who will act as a critical bridge between the brand and our partners—someone with a solid foundation in audio systems, confidence in communication, and a strong sense of responsibility. Role Overview: The Audio Technician will be responsible for training dealers , designing system layouts , and providing technical support . The role requires a confident communicator who is fluent in spoken and written English , comfortable leading demonstrations, and capable of designing customized speaker placement plans and preparing accurate Bills of Materials (BoMs). Key Responsibilities: Dealer Training & Support Conduct comprehensive product training for dealers, showroom staff, and installation teams. Explain features, installation procedures, system tuning, and troubleshooting steps with clarity and professionalism. Offer remote and on-site support for dealer inquiries and client demos when needed. Create training guides, videos, and technical documentation to streamline onboarding. Visit project sites Technical Product Expertise Stay updated on every product’s specifications, features, and compatibility. Assist in resolving installation, tuning, or connectivity issues encountered in the field. Provide internal feedback on product performance and support the development of better deployment practices. Conduct internal testing and validation for new product releases. Speaker Placement & System Design Collaborate with sales and design teams to understand room requirements and usage goals. Interpret floor plans and architectural drawings to recommend speaker, subwoofer, and amplifier placements . Design layout plans that consider both acoustic performance and interior design harmony . Communicate layout decisions effectively with installers and dealers, providing detailed guidance. Bill of Materials (BoM) & Documentation Prepare accurate BoMs based on each project’s layout, acoustic needs, and product compatibility. Coordinate with the inventory and logistics team to ensure availability and fulfillment. Maintain a database of standard configuration templates for recurring project types (e.g., home theater, studio, café, etc.). Communication & Coordination Represent Sound N Style as a technically credible and approachable professional. Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to maintain consistent knowledge flow across departments. Provide insights for improving dealer experience and training structure. Required Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, Acoustics, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in audio system integration, AV dealership support, or technical training. Strong understanding of room acoustics, speaker specifications, signal chains, and amplifier matching . Fluent in English —must be able to confidently present and explain technical information to diverse audiences. Proficiency with basic DSP tuning software and room calibration tools. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and audio layout schematics. Excellent task management and ownership—able to handle multiple projects with minimal oversight. Preferred Experience (Bonus): Familiarity with CAD or room modeling software for speaker placement visualization. Experience with premium audio brands or high-end home automation systems. Basic knowledge of networked audio (e.g., Dante, AVB, or similar). Exposure to interior design workflows or architect collaborations. Why Join Sound N Style?
