Audio Visual Technician

The Audio-Video Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio, video, lighting, and projection systems for corporate events, conferences, and live shows. The role demands strong technical expertise, client-handling skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced event environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and dismantle audio-visual equipment including sound systems, microphones, projectors, LED walls, cameras, lighting systems, and video conferencing units.
• Coordinate with clients, hotel staff, and internal departments to ensure seamless event execution.
• Test and inspect equipment prior to events to ensure functionality and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, calibration, and proper storage of all AV equipment.
• Support event rehearsals, live sessions, and recordings as required.
• Ensure timely reporting of any damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
• Assist in maintaining the inventory of AV equipment and accessories.
• Stay updated on new AV technologies and best practices in event production.
• Uphold company standards for professionalism, punctuality, and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Experience:

  1–4 years of experience in audio-visual setup, preferably in hotels, event production, or corporate setups.

• Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with mixers, amplifiers, microphones, projectors, LED systems, and control panels.
• Familiarity with video conferencing systems (Zoom, WebEx, Teams) and live-stream setups.
• Basic knowledge of networking and cabling.

• Strong communication and client-handling skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as per event requirements.
