Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and organized Assistant Manager – HR to support and strengthen our human resources functions. The role involves managing recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, HR operations, compliance, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, sound knowledge of HR processes, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle (sourcing, screening, interviews, offer process).
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring requirements.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and ensure smooth joining formalities.

2. HR Operations

  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy.
  • Oversee attendance, leave, and End to End payroll process.
  • Handle employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.

3. Performance Management

  • Assist in implementing performance review systems (monthly/quarterly/annual).
  • Track employee KPIs and support managers in appraisal discussions.
  • Work on talent development and succession planning activities.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Address employee grievances and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement programs and activities.
  • Promote company culture, values, and employee well-being initiatives.

5. Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Draft, review, and update HR policies and SOPs.
  • Coordinate audits and maintain compliance documentation.

6. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal/external training sessions.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.

RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of HR laws, policies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving, decision-making, and people management skills.

Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in HR with exposure to recruitment, HR operations, and employee management.
  • Experience in handling compliance and statutory HR processes is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
