Job Summary
BigTapp is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance to join our finance team in Chennai. The role is ideal for professionals with 6-8 years of experience in finance and accounting, who are proficient in managing day-to-day financial operations and reporting. The AM – Finance will be responsible for maintaining books of accounts, preparing MIS, Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, cash management, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Mandatory Skills
- Advanced finance knowledge, preferably with CA, CA-Inter, Graduate, or equivalent.
- 6-8 years of experience in finance/accounting roles.
- Hands-on experience in maintaining books of accounts.
- Problem-solving skills with strong analytical ability.
- Proficiency in finance software and ERPs (Zoho, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.) and MS Office.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, integrity, and honesty.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts for the organization.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and monitor variances.
- Prepare Balance Sheet schedules and ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Manage cash requirements, banking transactions, and liquidity.
- Support the Business Finance Team in the preparation of MIS reports.
- Liaise with auditors, company secretaries, and tax consultants to ensure compliance and facilitate annual audits.
- Handle any other finance matters as directed by Management or Head Office Finance.
Qualifications
- Preferred advanced degree in Finance (CA, CA-Inter, MBA Finance, or equivalent).
- Graduate in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in finance software and ERPs (Zoho, Oracle, Netsuite).
- Strong command of MS Excel and MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and financial reporting standards.
