Job Description

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Assist the Accounts Manager/Head of Accounts in managing day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and reconciliations.
  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Monitor vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Track customer invoices, collections, and outstanding balances.
  • Ensure timely follow-up for dues and maintain proper records.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Monitor departmental expenses and highlight deviations to management.
  • Support in cost analysis and expense optimization.

4. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
  • Assist in filing tax returns and other statutory submissions.
  • Prepare necessary documents and schedules for internal and external audits.

5. Payroll & Employee Settlements

  • Support payroll processing, reimbursements, and employee-related financial matters.
  • Maintain accurate records of salary disbursements, deductions, and statutory contributions (PF, ESI, etc.).

6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal control systems.
  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for efficiency.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial data.

7. Team Support & Coordination

  • Supervise junior accountants/executives and support their daily tasks.
  • Coordinate with other departments for financial information and approvals.
  • Provide assistance to the Accounts Manager in decision-making by preparing reports and analysis.

8. ERP/Software Handling

  • Enter and verify accounting data in ERP/accounting software.
  • Generate MIS reports as required by management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
