Job Description

As an Assistant Accounts Manager with 7-10 years of experience in Shipping & Logistics, Forwarding in Andheri, Mumbai, your main role will involve handling various accounting responsibilities and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing monthly P&L and MIS reports - Conducting ledger scrutiny and reconciliation - Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of GST working and filing, while monitoring statutory deadlines/compliances - Having thorough understanding of TDS, monitoring statutory deadlines/compliances, and conducting reconciliations - Ensuring overall compliance with accounting, finance, inventory, and statutory regulations - Possessing good knowledge of finalization of accounts and adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s) To qualify for this role, you should meet the following criteria: - Hold an MBA-Finance or M.Com degree from Mumbai University - Have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting - Exhibit good communication skills for interactions with suppliers, vendors, and customers - Preferably come from a freight forwarding background The salary range for this position is between 7.5 LACS to 8.5 LACS, with salaries being negotiable based on the candidate's proficiency.,
