Junior Interior Designer

Job Description

1. Client Consultation & Project Planning Meet with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget. Develop design concepts that align with client expectations and functional requirements. Provide cost estimates and project timelines. 2. Space Planning & Design Development Create floor plans, layouts, and furniture arrangements based on space requirements. Select color schemes, materials, lighting, and furnishings to enhance aesthetics and functionality. Incorporate sustainable and ergonomic design principles. 3. Technical Drawings & 3D Visualizations Develop sketches, mood boards, and 3D renderings to present design ideas. Prepare technical drawings using CAD software for contractors and manufacturers. 4. Material & Product Selection Source and procure furniture, fixtures, finishes, and decorative accessories. Ensure material quality, durability, and compliance with industry standards. 5. Project Coordination & Execution Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address design-related issues. Ensure project completion within budget and timeline constraints. 6. Compliance & Safety Standards Ensure designs adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Address accessibility and universal design considerations where necessary. 7. Client Presentation & Approval Present design concepts and modifications for client feedback and approval. Make necessary revisions to meet client expectations and project feasibility. 8. Budgeting & Cost Management Develop budget-friendly solutions while maintaining design integrity. Track project expenses and prevent cost overruns. 9. Trend Research & Innovation Stay updated on the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies. Introduce innovative design elements to enhance brand identity and client satisfaction. 10. Post-Completion Support Conduct final walkthroughs with clients to ensure satisfaction. Provide maintenance and care guidelines for furnishings and materials.
