Position Title: Associate Vice President β Group Leadership & Talent Location: Pune Function: Group Learning & Talent Development Job Purpose This role is responsible for leading the diagnosis, design, implementation, and evaluation of leadership, transition, and talent development programs across the group. It offers substantial opportunities to envision and execute a forward-thinking leadership development agenda. The role involves close collaboration with senior business leaders, managers, and HR teams to deliver impactful and scalable learning experiences. Key Responsibilities 1. Leadership Capability Building Design and implement a leadership development strategy in consultation with executive leadership. Diagnose leadership challenges and propose tailored interventions. Translate business strategies into scalable leadership development experiences. Develop, deliver, and evaluate impactful leadership programs. Partner with external specialists to align interventions with business needs. Ensure learning outcomes are implemented and sustained. 2. Content Creation Curate end-to-end leadership journeys from emerging leaders to CXOs. Use modern instructional design methods (ADDIE, SAM, design thinking) for high-impact content. Integrate organizational context, adult learning principles, and behavioral science. Establish content quality standards and templates. Collaborate with senior leaders on custom content for sessions. 3. Executive Coaching Manage one-on-one and group coaching interventions based on identified needs. Identify and onboard executive coaches aligned to individual goals. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of coaching journeys. 4. Organization Development Partner with HR and leadership to develop special programs for high-potential talent. Lead design of targeted talent development journeys. Implement feedback-based iteration of interventions. Drive diversity & inclusion learning agendas aligned with organizational outcomes. 5. Cultural Integration & Branding Design and execute initiatives that foster a unified workplace culture. Ensure alignment of people practices with organizational values. 6. Budgeting, Data & Logistics Management Manage MIS, analytics, and reporting for leadership and talent programs. Oversee budgeting and resource planning. Ensure flawless program execution and stakeholder coordination. 7. Team Management Drive team performance through mentoring, coaching, and feedback. Lead hiring and talent identification within the function. Set clear objectives and promote a collaborative team culture. Major Challenges Navigating complex stakeholder ecosystems at senior levels. Ensuring resource alignment with evolving talent needs. Key Decisions Selection of internal/external learning partners. Finalization of program design and delivery approaches. Communication and rollout strategies. Budget utilization and allocation. Key Stakeholder Interactions Internal: Executive Leadership (CEO, CHRO) Senior Business Leaders HR and L&D teams across the group Admin and Event Coordination Teams External: Industry Experts Learning & Development Partners Organizational Development Consultants Skills & Knowledge Education: Masterβs degree in Management or related field. Experience: 12β15 years of experience in Human Resources and Leadership Development.
