Associate Vice President – Finance

Job Summary

Oxygen – The Digital Shop is seeking an experienced and results-driven Associate Vice President – Finance to lead the financial strategy and operations of our expanding retail network. This role demands a finance leader with deep expertise in financial planning, risk management, compliance, and strategic business support, specifically within a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning:

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning in alignment with business goals.

• Financial Controls & Compliance:

Establish and monitor internal financial controls, ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, Income Tax, ROC), and oversee timely audits.

• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

Manage liquidity, optimize working capital, and ensure healthy cash flow across branches and divisions.

• MIS & Reporting:

Generate accurate and timely financial reports, MIS dashboards, and variance analyses for senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Cost Optimization:

Identify opportunities for cost savings, improve margin performance, and monitor overheads at all levels.

• Revenue Assurance:

Ensure reconciliation of branch collections, online transactions, and banking settlements. Oversee invoicing and incentive accuracy.

• Taxation & Statutory Filings:

Supervise direct and indirect tax compliance, ensure timely filings, and manage assessments or audits with tax authorities.

• Risk Management:

Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

• Tech-Enabled Finance Operations:

Support ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar), digital invoicing, and finance automation initiatives.

• Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing finance team across head office and branch finance cells.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, or MBA in Finance.
• 10+ years of finance leadership experience, preferably in digital or consumer retail.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and retail financial processes.
• Hands-on experience in managing audits, compliance, and multi-location accounting systems.
• Analytical mindset with excellent financial modeling and forecasting skills.
• Proficiency in financial software (Tally ERP, SAP, Zoho Books, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills.

Pay: From ₹100,000.00 per year
