Associate Technical Writer

Key Responsibilities: - Develop high-quality documentation such as installation guides, operation manuals, end-user guides, and training materials by collaborating with various teams. - Collaborate with teams to create tutorial videos that support and enhance documentation. - Translate technical concepts into practical narratives for written and video formats. - Ensure all documentation meets organizational standards and complies with industry regulations. - Apply editorial standards for clarity and consistency across all materials. - Create and maintain standardized templates for consistent style and formatting. - Utilize technology and business understanding to create relevant use cases in the documentation. - Manage multiple documentation projects, track progress, address challenges, and escalate issues as needed. - Incorporate feedback and conduct usability testing to enhance documentation quality. Qualifications Required: - Quick learner with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, accessible language. - Strong research and analysis skills for gathering and analyzing data to create documentation and training materials. - Solid understanding of technical terminology, particularly in the e-commerce sector. - Ability to ask relevant questions to identify key aspects of technical products and gather essential information. - Proven skills in technical writing, editing, and content design with a focus on clarity and conciseness. - Superior command of the English language, including grammar and style. - Strong interpersonal skills for conveying technical information clearly and effectively. - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously. - Effective team player with the capability to work well in collaborative environments. - Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters. - Strong attention to detail to ensure quality in documentation. - Excellent organizational abilities to manage tasks and projects effectively. - Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and basic familiarity with SDLC, DDLC, HTML. - Experience in tutorial video production, and basic familiarity with Camtasia and SnagIt is a plus.
