Associate Technical Writer

Role Overview: You will be joining AspenTech as an Associate Technical Writer in the Digital Grid Management product documentation team. Your main responsibility will be to translate complex technical concepts into user-centric content that is easy to understand. By collaborating with other Technical Writers and development teams, you will ensure that DGM customers have all the information necessary to effectively use AspenTech's industry-leading products. Key Responsibilities: - Research, write, and edit documentation including configuration guides, user guides, and other technical materials. - Develop a deep understanding of products to create and deliver complex software documentation that meets the needs of the target audience. - Collaborate with development teams, subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders to enhance documentation continuously. - Utilize a ticket tracking system to ensure tasks are on track and deadlines are met. - Apply design and style guides to existing documentation for a consistent look and feel across the documentation library. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Technical/Professional Writing, English, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. - 0-2 years of experience in developing software or technical documentation. - Ability to quickly grasp complex topics and software applications. - Attention to detail and the ability to translate complex information into concise, easy-to-follow instructions. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Exposure to XML-based documentation authoring software, such as MadCap Flare, is preferred. - Knowledge of HTML and web publishing is a plus. - Understanding of Agile methodology is preferred. - Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Jama is an advantage.,
