We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Associate – Strategy and Operations ( Fintech ) to support strategic planning and operational efficiency in a fast-growing fintech and mobile money environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to shaping growth strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless execution across key business initiatives. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, finance, partnerships, and technology teams to support decision-making, scale operations, and drive impact in digital financial services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in formulating business strategies based on market research, competitor analysis, and internal performance metrics.
• Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and profitability.
• Support expansion efforts into new markets and partnerships, including regulatory, market, and risk assessments.
• Monitor KPIs and develop dashboards to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams to streamline onboarding, payments, and transaction flows.
• Conduct feasibility and impact analysis for new mobile money features, services, and innovations.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
• Support project management activities and ensure the timely execution of strategic initiatives.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, etc.).
• 1-2 years of experience working in the FinTech industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex data from financial systems and present findings in a clear and actionable format.
