What You'll DoAvalara Professional Services is looking for an Associate Project Manager to lead conversations and gather the appropriate information for implementing Avalara software with customers' Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), retail, and e-commerce solutions to support their tax compliance needs. You will work with the customer to better understand their business and lead a team of specialized resources to set up the different Avalara products on behalf of the customer. What Your Responsibilities Will Be
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of assigned projects.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant partners and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop and deliver to customers a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Monitor client projects to keep projects moving forward. Report and escalate.
- Leverage and expertise to elicit requirements and document related business processes; propose/understand best practices for sales and use tax automation programs.
- Manage the relationship with the client, consulting team, Avalara partners and all partners.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Assist clients and functional consultants with developing and executing testing plans and procedures.
- Support the sales and account management teams in selling additional tax solutions and professional services.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with multiple ERP and e-commerce solutions with a focus on sales order/invoicing processes.
- Strong Ability to understand and conceptualize process workflow.
- Willingness to work in night shifts (5:30 pm onwards).
- Location: Pune (Viman Nagar)
