Mobile App Growth Team

The Mobile App Growth team defines and prioritizes mobile feature initiatives aligned with business goals and user needs. Our designers create elegant, accessible, and responsive interfaces tailored for mobile-first experiences. Our engineers build and maintain robust, scalable, and performant mobile applications using modern development frameworks and tools. We continuously gather user feedback, run experiments, and iterate quickly to improve app functionality and usability. Whether it’s iOS, Android, or hybrid solutions, we ensure consistent quality and performance across all devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively craft clear product outcomes and vision for small and medium size products with limited supervision, clearly demonstrating understanding of the product goals and organizational needs
• Grow skills in connecting Best Buy's broader strategic vision to their own product and product vision
• Craft objectives and supporting measures of success that deliver value by solving customer problems and meeting business needs
• Support delivery through effective sprint/backlog prioritization that advances the team's highest priorities
• Contribute to a customer-focused team culture
• Actively seek out, research, and suggest new ways of working and ideas for product team feedback
• Analyze product performance through qualitative and quantitative analysis tools and processes
• Demonstrate inclusive leadership by contributing to a culture where team members feel comfortable to dissent and have a sense of belonging. Co-moderate difficult conversations with stakeholders and ensure that people leave meetings feeling heard and understood
• Work under rapid development cycles with small to medium teams to achieve a common goal
• Build skills from retroactive analysis to using data as an input to understanding customer problems

Requirements

• 4+ years of Product Management experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR experience working with Development, User Experience, Strategy, or related. Including:
• 1+ years of experience with agile methodologies
• 1+ years of experience with mobile app development best practices that result in strong collaboration with the mobile app development teams

Preferred

• Experience working in an omni-channel retail environment
• Familiarity with A/B testing tools to help drive product roll out decisions
• Familiarity with mobile app analytical tools to understand customer behaviors and feature effectives
• Ability to gather and share customer Insights: Gather feedback through user research, app reviews, and support channels to inform product decisions
